1、Sales Engineer/Account Manager– Electrification 销售工程师/客户经理 – 新能源方向

Main Responsibilities:

- Market analysis, identification of potential customers/opportunities and developing business opportunities

- Creation of project business plan (BP) including product development if necessary

- Identify customer’s problems, processing and business drivers and understanding the context for electrification/battery

- Indentify key accounts and work closely with the key accounts

- Proactively discover the underlying business opportunities for every customer’s decision

- Solve and create solutions to technical/business problems faced by customer

- Perform functional/configuration analysis associated with project requests

- Design and document data flows, processes, and business rules

- Create and maintain requirements documentation, including data base

- Apply best practice (including technical, sales, customer service. etc.) to every implementation

- Work on multiple customers/opportunities/projects simultaneously

Qualification:

- Bachelor degree in electronics or automation ;

- Minimum of 2 years business management in multinational automotive industry;

- Ability to interact with and influence all levels of personnel including executive managers, customers, and technical staffs;

- Strong technology background and understanding of electrification business;

- Knowledgeable and experienced with (electric motor/vehicle/powertrain testing instrumentation);

- Able to manage ambiguity and handle working under pressure;

- Good team spirit, able to work independently with minimal supervision;

- Self-motivated and proactive;

- Confident, self-assured with focus;

- Exceptional communication skills in Mandarin and English;

- Some travel to customer sites required.

2、Key Account Manager(KAM) 大客户经理

Main Responsibilities:

- Proactively manage and develop sustainable profitable growth for our entire product and services portfolio at a limited number of assigned key strategic accounts in China.

- Obtain a deep understanding about the assigned accounts – organization, buying centres, business culture, strategic direction, challenges, AVL supporters and opponents, budgets, AVL competitor directions, etc.

- Develop and update strategic multiyear account plans for each of the assigned accounts.

- Develop the necessary plans to consistently exceed the assigned yearly Order Intake and Sales quota.

- Drive and manage all of the account on-going opportunities while maintaining accurate and updated opportunity information within SFDC at all times. Provide periodic forecast for each of the assigned accounts. This does not mean that
- theKAM will be the Opportunity Owner for all opportunities within the assigned accounts.

- Drive business opportunities and obtain supplementary information from the customer as required, clarify boundary conditions, budget limitations, competitive insights, etc.

- Identify key AVL differentiators that can help achieve our success of an opportunity. 

- Ensure full and transparent cooperation with each of the AVL Business Units, Affiliate Business Managers (ABMs), Global Account Managers (GAM) for global accounts, and other centralized support teams.

- Be the “voice of the customer” to the AVL organization and be the “voice of AVL” to the customer. Deliver customer feedback and drive improvement to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Develop a good working relationship with the client at all levels within their organization and always represent AVL with a high level of customer support, integrity and professionalism.

Qualification:

- University degree or post-graduate degree with a major in Engineering, Automotive, Combustion Engines, or Electrification.

- Over 8 years engineering sales experience with a proven record as a Key Account Manager.

- Outstanding commercial negotiation skills.

- Outstanding ability to collaborate and lead teams to accomplish critical challenges.

- Process the necessary business discipline.

- Excellent written and spoken English skills.

- Self-motivated, flexible and good team player.

- Able to operate and be productive within a matrix organization.

- Ability to work under intense pressure with good psychology and personal qualities.

- Be able to accept frequent and extended business travel.

3、Senior Sales Engineer _ Smart Calibration & Virtual Testing Solutions

General Description:

To represent AVL in front of customers as Senior sales engineer, implement market development and sales activities, to fulfill business development and sales target for AVL smart calibration, virtual testing and lab management software business. 

Main Responsibilities:

- Market analysis, identification of potential customers/opportunities and developing business opportunities;

- Help shape products and future directions by constantly screening competition and markets, communicating market needs and solution opportunities back to the development teams;

- Identify customer’s needs, processing and business drivers for the context of AVL smart calibration, virtual testing and lab management software;

- Share expertise and best practices throughout local and global pre-sales and sales organizations, that support and contribute to new opportunity identification;

- Support key accounts pre-sales and sales activities, work closely with the key account management team;

- Perform functional/configuration analysis associated with customer specific requests;

- Proactively communicate with AVL engineering department and simulation department to develop new business cases;

- Work on multiple customers/opportunities/projects simultaneously

Qualification:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, computer software, information management technology or automation;

- Minimum of 5 years practical work experience in multinational automotive industry;

- Presentation skills to maneuver, interact with and influence all customer management levels;

- Strong technology background and understanding of powertrain lab software business;

- Knowledgeable and experienced with (vehicle simulation / powertrain development / lab management) is a strong plus;

- Able to manage ambiguity and handle working under pressure;

- Good team spirit, able to work independently with minimal supervision; 

- Self-motivated and proactive;

- Confident, self-assured with focus;

- Exceptional communication skills in Mandarin and English;  

- Frequent travel to customer sites required.

4、Technical Sales Support MI

Main Responsibilities:

- Management of sales and application support in the context of MI products

- Enhancement of relationship with existing cylinder pressure sensor customer

- Introducing AVL sensor into new customer

- Support KAM and other BU sales activities/opportunities 

- Providing input about new products/improvement on existing products features/ requirements to product development team, contribution to designing new features and functionalities

- Product marketing activities such as seminars, local exhibitions support

- Represent the professional image of AVL all the time

Qualification:

- Minimum bachelor degree of engineering, major in engine or automobile preferred

- Experience in the field of powertrain system and vehicle development/calibration

- Know-how in the areas of ICE combustion analysis

- Experience in the field of BEV/HEV is an advantage

- Customer oriented, outstanding communication and presentation skills

- Self-motivated, willingness to learn, good team player

- Fluent in English and Chinese

- Accept frequent business travel

5、Technical Sales Support/Solution Engineer 技术支持工程师

Main Responsibilities:

- To understand customers’ requirements through active approaching, cross-checking and modification of technical terms

- To assist Sales Engineer guiding customer’s RFQ

- To guarantee offered technical solutions meeting customer’s requirements and/or identify the deviation from Solution to requirement

- To contact various business units for project-specific solutions

- Response or assists Sales Engineer to prepare offers to customers

- Response or assists Sales Engineer to explain and clarify technical solution 

- Helps Sales Engineer to maximize sales volume

- Conducts technical and commercial risk assessment jointly with Sales Engineer

- Assists Sales Engineer for professional handover to project management team

- To establish competitor sales database

- To develop knowledge based on application other than product

Qualification:

- At least B.S. in Engineering, automotive related education background preferred

- Familiar with vehicle/powertrain/transmission/engine test and experience in test-bed operation, experience in hybrid or electrification related engine/powertrain/vehicle testing or analysing is a plus

- Relevant work experience in sales customer support or equipment engineering field is a plus

- Good communication skills both in English and Chinese; Excellent presentation skills

- Willing to develop new knowledge & skills with excellent learning ability

- Good team player, work independently and willing to support

- Can work under various pressure and accept frequent business travels

6、Sales Engineer– CS销售工程师-售后方向

Main Responsibilities:

- Collaboration and interaction with the ITS KAM and Sales team to manage the customer relationship;

- Business development for the assigned account for the customer service business

- Create a business strategy plan to the assigned account based on the install base and account request with follow-up actions and sales targets;

- Set realistic customer expectations strives for customer satisfaction;

- Understand the China market needs and lead customer visits.

- Define corresponding proposals and value propositions to our key customers to provide tailed made solution for key customers;

- Work with solution team to provide support and sub offer on service products during project phase;

- Be the opportunity owner of customer service, leading the Service opportunity and follow up, manage the whole commercial process to win the opportunity. applying with SFDC (SalesForce.com);

Qualification:

- Enthusiastic for sales;

- Self-motivated, flexible and good team player;

- At least B.S. degree in engineering or sales& marketing background;

- At least 3 years work experience in Sales and marketing, working experience in Automotive industry on customer service is a plus;

- Excellent communication skills both internal AVL and with customer. Good presentation skill and strong self-learning ability. With commercial negotiation skills is a must;

- Good oral and written English, good skills with Microsoft tools;

- Good technology background and understanding of automotive business is preferred.

- Able to operate and be productive within a matrix organization.

- Willing to accept frequent business travel

7、Commissioning Engineer 调试工程师

Main Responsibilities:

- To carry out following work:

a. AVL testing system commissioning work on customer site with high  quality by standard way;

b. Communication with customer and realizing specified applications  according to contract;

c. onsite trouble shooting and service;

d. onsite work management;

e. Part of onsite mechanical and electrical installation depending on  onsite situation.

- Act in accordance with AVL’s processes

- To request adequate support from AVL interfaces (e.g. Project  manager, Commissioning support center, Hotline, dispatching, team leader,  sales etc.)

- To provide useful feedback on optimization potentials to management,  support organization, product and quality management

- Prepare thoroughly for requested working task (knowledge, material,  spare parts, logistics, documentation)

- Decide on the requirement of a BU/sub-supplier involvement

Qualification:

- Bachelor degree or above; major in auto-testing, automation,  vehicle/powertrain/engine engineering, E-motor/Battery engineering or testing,  electrical engineering.

- At least 3-year work experience in  vehicle/powertrain/engine/Emotor/Battery testing field and/or instrument  testing industry; electronic specialist background is preferred.

- Well knowledge in hardware and software.

- Initiative, hardworking and team player; independent working ability  on customer site.

- Good communication skills with customer, supplier and AVL internal  colleagues.

- Good self-management: time and quality control; planning;

- Fast trouble-shooting skills and problem-solving skills, fast  studying skills.

- Good command of computer skills & English.

8、Service Engineer _Customer Service 服务工程师

Main Responsibilities:

- To carry out following services: analyze customer’s requests, handle and solve them; corrective and preventive maintenance; User support

- To request adequate support from AVL interfaces (e.g. Hotline, dispatching, team leader, sales etc.)

- To support the preparation of service documentation/service contracts, if required

- To provide useful feedback on optimization potentials to management, support organization, product and quality management

- Prepare thoroughly for requested working task (knowledge, material, spare parts, logistics, documentation)

- Act in accordance with AVL’s processes

- Decide on the requirement of a BU/sub-supplier involvement

Qualification:

- Bachelor degree or above; major in auto-testing system, instrument testing system and/or computer system.

- At least 5-year work experience in engine testing field and/or instrument testing industry; electronic specialist background is preferred.

- Well knowledge in hardware and software, especially in hardware.

- Fast trouble-shooting skills and problem-solving skills are required.

- Initiative, hardworking and team player; can work independently.

- Good command of computer skills & English (CET Band 6).

- Be able to accept frequent business travel.

9、Installation engineer 安装工程师

Main Responsibilities:

- To control and manage safety、quality、time plan of installation onsite.

- Unpacking of installation onsite, finished unpacking report / document list / spare part list, handover to project manager and customer.

- To guide mechanical installation, finish special and complex mechanical installation(alignment of shaft system / leveling of base plate / installation of bearing /etc.).

- To finish electrical installation of testing system according schematic diagram.

- Make summary and guide of installation ,To improve installation skills of installation team.

- Service of mechanical installation.

- To provide useful feedback on optimization potentials to management, support organization, product and quality management.

Qualification:

- Bachelor degree majored in mechanics,electronics, automation and related subject. 

- At least 3-year work experience in engine testing field and/or instrument testing industry; electronic specialist background is preferred.

- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues,Skills with analyzing and reporting.

- Initiative, hardworking and team player; can work independently.

- Good command of computer skills & English (CET Band 4).

- Be able to accept frequent business travel.

10、Mechanical Design/SQE Engineer 机械工程师

Main Responsibilities:

- Monitor AVL product/project manufacturing in supplier side, including supplier capability & capacity evaluation, process evaluation, quality control, cost analysis... to ensure the high quality AVL product manufactured in supplier side.

- Working together with Quality and Purchasing for new supplier development, supplier competence buildup and quality management process development 

- Support or lead product design, for example containers

- Facility/layout design for test bed and systems according to customer requirements

- Mechanical parts/system design

- Main Responsible and Main Duty:

- Working with product manager, Quality, Purchasing and PLCP to on site monitor manufacturing of AVL product in supplier side

- Working together with Quality and Purchasing for new supplier development, supplier competence buildup and quality management process development

- Support or lead product design/development, for example container application

- Support Sales and SO for facility/layout pre-design for test bed and systems according to customer requirements during sales phase.

- Facility/layout detail design for customer project during project execution phase. 

- Mechanical parts/system design according to project needs

Qualification:

- A Minimum Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Industrial Automation, Master is a plus

- At least 5 years working experience with manufacturing, mechanical design and installation, supplier quality control in industrial machine or test equipment system

- development/planning/operation in automotive industry

- Mechanical parts or system design experience is a plus

- Engine / powertrain / vehicle testing knowledge is an advantage

- Good logic thinking

- Good process control

- Good communication skills

- Excellent oral and written English

- Familiar with AUTOCAD, Solidwork software and Microsoft Office

- Readiness to travel (>30%)

11、Project Manager 项目经理

Main Responsibilities:

- Capable of managing simple projects within the AVL organization.

- Working within the boundaries of one affiliate or one BU and clarifies interfaces to other affiliates or BU.

- Working as subproject leader within a bigger project reporting to the project manager.

- Has a good understanding of the organization or BU and technical content of the specific BU.

- Capable of managing small teams working mainly with AVL standard components and integration of some non standard components.

- Able to manage more complex social systems.

- Capable of active customer and supplier management.

- Able to integrate complex non AVL standard technical systems into the project.

- The technical content of the project that he/she manages is defined but requires innovative solutions.

- Can manage engineering teams and able to manage more than one business units or affiliates.

Qualification:

- Got PMA certificate

- Be a Project Leader for at least 1 year

- Qualified for non-complex projects and handled at least 5 projects.
